My wife claims she heard that the lifetime carry license is going away. Is that true?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Doing away with the lifetime license would involve introducing and passing legislation to change the law. Currently, there are no bills in the State Legislature to amend the existing law. Whoever told you that it's going away doesn't know what they're talking about.

I have talked to a few IMPD guys and they said it is not going away. You should get yours now they can't take it back if it is repealed.

I know I drove around to several gun shops today just to spread the rumor. I know it has 0 truth but if you can show confidence, you can make others believe anything. Too much fun.
