    im in. as of tuesday, no more mountain dew, green food only. vegetables thats what there called. i usally knock them out of the way, on my way to the steak.
    i quit smoking 3 weeks ago cold turkey. i am ready for this challenge. i am also heavier than most scales read. 300 +
    i am ready to ............ damn i have never done anything athletic.
    ok i am ready to do something athletic.... again, or for the first time.

    I turn 44 tomorrow. I'm 5'7 and 295 pounds.

    I start P90X on Monday... My motto for the next 90 days is getFITorDIE!

    At the advise of my son, I've spend the last couple of weeks doing light workouts and working the elyptical.

    Day 1 of P90X was today. Pushups and pullups at my size are a challenge so I did the pushups workouts on the bench press and pullups on the lat pulldown bar.

    Today's weight: 287

    Eating 5-6 small meals a day, some of those being cereal bars or shakes, or fruit/veggies. I give myself Saturday to "cheat", but don't over do it.

    I'm in this 100% now that I'm on the daily workouts.

    Awesome, I'm down to 262 from 271. Hardest thing for me has been drinking light beer :puke:

    That and portion control.

    Fortunately Sam Adams Light isn't too bad.

    Lost a total of 25 pounds since I visited the Dr. in January. Unfortunately I've kinda been stuck at that weight for a while now. Never-the-less it's better than putting on 25 pounds!

    Yeah, traveling is taking it's toll on me, I do the best I can, but I'm right back up to 270ish. I think I'm going to have to stay away from variety and just stick to eating the same thing every day while I'm away to avoid eating restaurant food at all when I'm away from home.
