I think you need email addresses or facebook to add friends

    edit:
To add a friend, just go to that member's profile page and click the "Add As Friend" button. A friend request will be sent to that user, and if they accept, your profiles will be linked as friends.

To find a member's profile page, just go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/[USERNAME] but replace [USERNAME] with their actual username.

If you don't know your friend's MyFitnessPal username, you can search for them by clicking on the "Community" tab, and then clicking "Find Members."

That's awesome you want to be more healthy. First and best advice you can have is"DON'T DIET".
Simply educate yourself just like with shooting and
make it a lifestyle. Change your thinking and you'll
change your habits. With that said, you are taking care
of the most important part of being healthy.
Is no different than GIGO with computers. You put
garbage in you get garbage out.

    Yep. :+1:
You need a real life style change. Not a diet that will last 2 months.

    All of this, plus this:

I started a little over a year ago.
    The Couch-to-5K ® Running Plan | C25K Mobile App

I now run 5 days a week, average 4.3 miles, ran 10.3 miles yesterday. I track my progress with MapMyRun.com - they also have an app. Every day for breakfast I have a half cup oatmeal, 3 dashes cinnamon & half a bannana. Lunch is a spinach salad with a pear. Dinner is whatever.

there's no magic app, no special diet, just hard work. When everyone else is sleeping in, I'm outside running. I've lost 35 lbs and so far so good.

Another thing, I 'cheat' every Sunday, Chinese, pizza, dairy Queen, burger king you name it. But once Monday hits, I'm back on the oatmeal and spinach. No exceptions. Keeps me sane during the week knowing I can eat like a king on Sunday.

    Good luck everyone!

I tend to do a cheat day once every two weeks otherwise I start to do it more than I should. Saturday it would be like, 'Well, tomorrow *is* Sunday...' etc.
