...Your OP [strike]made it sound like[/strike] tried to TRICK ME INTO BELIEVING that 500 rounds would let you shoot 33 times...

Type what you really mean. :):

I will re-size his original fonts so others aren't confused by the maths. :D

I would think 500 rounds of each caliber would be plenty. If you shot 30 round magazines, that would allow you to shoot 33 times...

My wife invited herself and wants to make a weekend trip out of it (anniversary). Any way she can be at the shoot?.. else she'll go to Bloomington and spend all of my money.

I realize the space/numbers constraint and won't be butt-hurt if the answer's no.

No takers on my question? Should I start saving now for the wife to go to the malls all day?

She might not make the potato casserole if she can't be there.
I told you I wouldn't be butt hurt.... never said she wouldn't be. /purple

No problem. Just happy I'm lucky enough to attend; thanks for that.
I still plan on bringing the potato casserole, so don't you worry shooter.

But I'm blaming you guys if she uses this as more ammo for me to buy her the couches she wants. Hah!

Subsonic would be best for the suppressed stuff, and probably high-velocity ammo with washed/plated bullets for the MGs (though they should run about anything).

The vendors have not made any preferences known. No reloads. :): I think a lot of the guys shot Win/Rem/Fed bulk pack stuff in years past.

That's what I wanted to hear, so I can go cheap if I have to then, lol

    Thanks!

Like I said before, I may not be able to afford a ton of ammo, but this event will be fun just to SPECTATE let alone participate.

I'm still debating on how much ammo to bring. So far I've set aside 500 rounds of .223, 500 rounds of 9mm, and 100 rounds of 7 1/2 shot 12 gauge, and 550 rounds of .22. I will pick up some .45 to try out VUPDBlue's suppressor. Do you veterans think that's enough of those calibers? I need to try and find some 5.7 over the next couple of days. UGH, so much to shoot and not enough time!

I think you'll be sufficiently outfitted there. I would suggest you pick up some 00buck and slugs for the shorties. I also suggest you find some 147gr 9mm to run through the cans. Don't forget .22lr too!
