Well sure, I can choose not to fly if I dont like being groped, cause flying aint a "right"...And I suppose I can choose not to drive if they start pulling me over to grope my wife and daughter, or choose not to go to WalMart when they grope us at the door cause going to WalMart aint a right, or walking on the sidewalk, going to the movies, going to the bank, going to work, walking to the mailbox...
    Wake up!:xmad:
People aren't going to wake up. Not until it's too late. We're bombarded daily that this is for our benefit and protection and that it's all in our best interests. So it's not surprising that some fall victim to the constant propaganda.

The SS were good at mindlessly obeying orders and goose-stepping. I'd put my money on a battalion of mall ninjas over those guys.

YouTube - Stupid Waffen SS marching video with stupid adolf hitler

With all due respect the SS were good fighters and many GI's and Russian soldiers are talking about that now with Jesus .

I met an old SS Sgt . at a gun show at Phoenix years ago and from time to time I still see him .. he has to be in his late 80's for sure .. any way he talked about what he went through and how lucky he go to be captured by the British instead of the Russians .
Not all SS were NAZI .
He equivalenced the SS to the the US Marines you had to go through different and more extensive boot camp than the Wehrmacht .

He came here after the war became a citizen and was a productive person .. a machinist I think .

I asked him why he was SS .
Said it started with the Hitler Youth .
I asked him why he joined the HY ... " we were hungry !! "
The depression left many poor and hungry .
" In the Hitler Youth we ate good ."
Then you get indoctrinated and so it was logical in his mind to Join the SS .
Better pay and I think food and privilege and equipment .

He was very stern that he never was a member of the NAZI Party and that he never worked at a Concentration Camp .

" I was a Sergeant in the SS but I was not a NAZI "
I find my self lucky to have meet him and talked to him several times over the years ... he is part of history just like my dad an uncles that were in Germany in the WW 2 also .
He does reenactment WW 2 at some US Army Base in Pennsylvania in Jan . or Feb that is held every year .
He has went up against some of the same veterans that he shot at in WW 2 , units that is .
They reenact the Battle of the Bulge .
One year he was the Commander of the Allied Forces in the Bulge engagement .
About half way through they came up to him and reminded him that the Americans won that encounter ... he was kicking the US's Å$$ .
He had to back off a let his men get killed so that the Gi's could win ... I guess there was a lot of jokes and laughter that had he not got captured and Hitler would have put him in charge that things would be different .
In any event a very interesting man to have met .
It make you wonder .. if dad or my uncles ever exchanged gunfire with him or his unit ...

    Thanks
    Duncan

    Some where in the USA
That's because he and his young daughters don't have to go through scanners. Neither do congress critters. They get led around the lines and escorted away from the peons. Of course they're all for it. They'll never have to get groped.
Members of Congress must pass through security like everyone else. The TSA may let them go ahead because a congressman or Senator can make their lives miserable. I went through security at Indy while talking to Mike Pence. He took his shoes off just like the rest of us and passed through the medal detector. They did give him a wide berth though.

Remember 75 y.o. Cong. John Dingell, in 2002 TSA made him disrobe because his hip replacement set off the detectors. There's more, see here.

You could be in the SS and not be a Nazi?:dunno:

The SS, including Waffen SS units swore a personal oath to Hitler:

"Before God I swear absolute obedience to Adolf Hitler, Commander in Chief of the German Army and to the superiors appointed by him... I swear to you, Adolf Hitler, Germanic Führer and Remaker of Europe, to be loyal and brave. I swear to obey you and the leaders you have placed over me until death. So help me God."

    They were NAZIS.

To my knowledge they did swear an oath to Hitler .. but they were not all Party Members

Flying is a right now? If I am going to be stuck on a plane that I have no control over, I don't want anyone else unauthorized to have an advantage over me. Frisk everyone who doesn't want the scan. If they don't like it, they don't have to fly. Its not a right. Those planes are not owned by the government...Yet....

Now once that chances....***** all you want.

Considering that these searches are ineffective against bomb/material stuck in a persons cavities, will you be comfortable bending over for the full strip/cavity search that will be required in a few years.

Drug mules have been swallowing packets of drugs for years. How long till terrorists figure out that's the way they can bring down a plane?

Or how about chemicals in fake boobs?

Or any number of things we haven't thought of yet?

You shouldn't have to submit to intrusive searches without probable cause, and simply boarding an airplane (or train, or bus, or subway, or boat,) is not sufficient probable cause.

Next step for body scanners could be trains, boats, metro - TheHill.com

Here's a video of a young child being stripped search
    RIDCULOUS
YouTube - Young Boy Strip Searched By TSA

Just to correct some misinformation about that incident.

The boy wasn't strip searched, he was always partially clothed. Tt was the boys dad that voluntarily removed the sweat shirt to try and expedite the search. It was NOT done at the request of the TSA.

    It was still ridiculous.

It's all horse crap anyway. You put one material into a tube of toothpaste. I another. Once through security I get both rolls of toothpaste. Plane takes off and I go to the bathroom. A little mixing and mashing and a boom and the plane's on its way to a swift and terminal decent. It's that simple. How do you detect that scenerio? That's the one I'm most concerned about.

“[Terrorists] are going to continue to probe the system and try to find a way through,” Napolitano said in an interview that aired Monday night on "Charlie Rose."

“I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime. So, what do we need to be doing to strengthen our protections there?”
For all of you who said, "I'll just take another form of transportation."... What are you gonna do now?

I really can't understand what the fuss is about. It boils down to how much is your safety and your families safety worth? If me getting a pat down saves my family from a terrorist attack than it's worth it. While deployed I was the guy giving the pat downs all day every day to all those entering the Base. You think it was fun for me or fun for the TSA folks? But it was neccessary for the safety of those on Base. If people don't want the scan or the pat down, don't fly. Simple to me.

I guess you won't mind then when your house gets searched at randoms days or hours and your daughter(s) and wife get felt up. You know, just in case the Al Quada boogie-men are there. If you don't like it, don't live in a house.

In fact, same goes for your car on the highway. Or, you wanting to buy groceries at the grocery store. You want food, bend over so your rectum can be checked for explosives.
