I recommend that we all send him a letter of unappreciation for this. Perhaps if we overwhelm him with some 2a love, he may be at least less likely to give us this double talk crap! Use the link in my signature.

Sounds like a great idea!

Andre Carson has no doubt had several less than cordial messages relating to RKBA including one from me. He's an Obama lap dog who was elected because his grandmother had the political rails greased beyond belief in Indy. As for his LEO experience, he was a state excise officer who may or may not have earned a coveted attendance star. The contact I had at the state advised he was a joke among his peers. My reply called him out about his stance on 2A and his LEO career. Don't expect a response.

I'm of the mind that ^^^ THIS ^^^ needs to be sent to Andre Carson to rattle his cage. Again and again !

He comes from a line of lap dogs. And I unfortunately am subject to his reign. Voicing any opinion to Caron that is not the hard line liberal democrat line is a complete waste of time. I'm thinking he had that comical form letter drafted just to screw with the discontented.

The latest from Andre:
"Thank you for contacting me to voice your concerns about gun violence prevention. The opinions of my fellow Hoosiers are essential to the decision making process as a Member of Congress.
As you may know, I am strongly in favor of having and enforcing sensible laws to keep guns out of the hands of people who are incapable of using them safely and responsibly. In and around my own neighborhood, I have witnessed how gun violence has the power to destroy families and entire communities. These preventable tragedies are unacceptable.
I believe that strong restrictions must be enacted to protect both the public and the Second Amendment rights of all Americans. For this reason, I am a cosponsor of the Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act which would improve our current system of background checks to help prevent violent felons and those with severe mental illness from easily purchasing guns. Rest assured, I make the safety of my constituents a top priority and will continue to monitor this issue as it moves forward.
I appreciate hearing your thoughts on this important issue and I hope you will continue to contact my office on future issues. I encourage you to visit my website at http://carson.house.gov where you can view the latest news and updates about pertinent issues and legislation important to you, or follow me on Twitter @RepAndreCarson. Here's his new letter. Same as his old letter...

Where's the bacon?
Actually, I think I may just write ole Carson a letter.

Feel free, but she can't read it. Young Carson is the one in power now, not old Carson.

The only Carson I can think of that had anything akin to wisdom was

Just went to his website. He won't respond/acknowledge you unless you enter your zip code WITH 4 digit extension. Must be all those unflattering letters he gets--"pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...GO AWAY and come back tomorrow!!!

I'm glad I read this. As has already been pointed out, most Americans DO NOT register their weapons. And we certainly do not need to enact any further gun control legislation. Cross Andre off the list.

Thanks.

That's so he can tell whether you can vote for him or not, which tells him whether he needs to give a s**t

Which list is that?

Luckily, since they redistricted I no longer have "him" on my ballot. I do still have him on my pity list.

stop it! You're killing me. You actually think he cares AT ALL what we think? He survives on his last name alone and the fact that downtown is heavily liberal democrat. He blocks outsiders for one main reason: without it he would get MUCH more hate mail that he would have to take time to read, and possibly pay lip service to. If he can make it so that he only has to be annoyed by HIS people vs the general public, that just makes his life easier.

I don't think it is even that simple. I think most politicians are just trying to accumulate as much power and wealth as they can. Without regard to what happens to people along the way. Hilliary Clinton is a perfect example of a soulless politician. Andre Carson is very much from the liberal Clinton school of socialism. Grab what you can for yourself, screw everyone and blame someone else.
