I built this to keep up with my long distance shooting, but lately I've been too interested in my handguns to spend any time with it.
Anyway, this is how you throw more money INTO a cheap rifle than what you bought it for. LoL

Thanks, SGreen. It's hard to find quality upgrade parts for a cheap rifle. But the difference they've made is amazing. It's nice having a rifle with such little recoil that the target stays in the scope's sights after a shot, but it's big enough to kill bigger game. We used it to get 3 of the 5 deer we got last year.
I make little additions here and there (next one is cutting the barrel to 20", re-crowning it, threading it, and adding a flash suppressor). I really like it, but it's also my rifle to keep around to trade for anything else that comes along.

An AR is my next purchase. I like the idea of a platform that I can change the upper on and have an insane amount of caliber choices. One of my friends has a .50 built on an AR lower that cost him $2k less than my Barrett was, and it is a damn good shooter.

USC that I converted over to be a UMP clone. Was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Hardest part was getting that *#&$#&&$* trigger-pack into the new lower but after I got that it was smooth sailing.

    Still a long-gun... for now :D
