I am kinda dumbfounded about this?

    1# vote for a Socialist

    Imploding the economy
    Higher Taxes
    Eliminating Private Healthcare
    Open Borders
    Green new deal
    2nd AD destroyed
    Supreme Court Packed
    Electoral College gone
    Federally mandated jobs
    Mandated Unions

I seriously doubt a forum like INGO would be allowed to exist under the New Democratic Party?

    2# Vote for DJT

I just posted this as a thought exercise. Mattis isn't running for President (that I know of). But he sounds like one. I was thinking that he'd be more of a Republican primary challenger than a Democrat. I've not heard his thoughts on health care, social issues, 2nd Amendment, etc, but seriously doubt that he is a "socialist."

I wasn’t speaking strictly about Mattis even though he appears much father to the left than one would think. He does have honor in not speaking about his time as Secretary of Defense right after he left office.

IMO we have a simple choice with no middle ground.

Am I the only one that has yet to see any proof about the Ukraine-Biden connection?

I've given Trump the benefit of the doubt with Russia, so I'd think it's only fair...

    Am I missing something? :dunno:

You mean other than the video where Biden brags about withholding aid unless they fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma (the company his son was working for)?

Skip to 1:18... Quid pro quo for me but not for thee...

Trump Great. Romney Sucks. Got it.

Mitt "Bend over for corporations" Romney.

I'll pass, that's one republican that'd make me vote 3rd party, like I did when he ran against obama. Him and McCain are 2 of the worst boomer neocons ever in the republican party. At least Graham got some sense about him since McCain passed.

I also don't believe Mattis would be a good president on policy matters. He may look pretty with a nice resumé for giving speeches, but his viewpoints are antithetical to my own.

Meh, knife hand didn't come up with a winning strategy for the never ending wars when he was SecDef...just more of the swamp. I was very disappointing in him. I would not support him for president.

His strategy for wiping out ISIS involved a handful SFs, a couple thousand Marines, and a whole bunch of Kurdish fighters. The Kurds lost 11K, we lost six. Seems like a pretty decent strategy.:dunno:

But we'll never know how his plans for the region would've played out long term because his boss doesn't do long term.

The situation with Mad Dog has been a bit disconcerting.
Before he was appointed SecDef, FB was full of his memes. He was the darling of everyone on the right.
When he went to work for Trump, he was even greater, almost the right hand of god.
Then suddenly, meh, he is just another swamp dwelling leftist.

Hey you're catching on, has anyone taken a spin through the Trump administration and not come out the other side persona non grata?

Not sure how I am "catching on"...

Maybe you already recognized it, but I think Jludo is referencing that Trumpers seem to hold the opinion that in you're not on your knees for Trump, you're a swamp-swimming leftist that hates America. The cult will not abide criticisms of Cheetos Jesus.

I like Mattis as a soldier and I supported him for Sec Def.

You serve at the pleasure of your boss.

I would have been fired several times in the military for disagreeing with officers, but it is pretty difficult to fire a soldier. Luckily in my career after the military I worked for and with people that were as/more intelligent/experienced then me.

Someone being a good soldier does not make them a good civilian leader.

Yes I will vote for Trump because he is the best, smartest, most effective, add all the complimentary superlatives you can think of man alive.
