    Several factories I travel to in Southern Indiana will be at $15 entry level shortly, a lot has to do with finding people that will pass drug screen. Competition for experienced workers like upholsterers or finish sprayers is fierce.

    It is hard to find a fork lift driver that.....
    1, has a licences and can get to work.
    2, Can pass the drug test .
    3, Will actually come to work.

    Several years ago, our department trainer (he works for HR with newbies) confided in me. Half our applicants failed the basic aptitude test, and half that passed it would fail the drug test. There is no such thing as "cream of the crop".
