I mean, I get I'm supposed to hate him and call him a RINO now days, by the guy was the architect of a SCOTUS majority most of us could only dream of.
Yep, people forget that he pretty much singlehandedly kept the evil party hack AG Garland from getting on SCOTUS. Then he set a record for the most federal judges approved for Trump.

His voting record. It's not great, but he ranks above Young (and McCain's historical record) both by "freedom index" and "conservative index". It's also far better than any Democrat. I'm not exactly singing the praises of Mitch McConnell, but am accurately pointing out that there are much worse. McConnell is certainly a "moderate", but are still several more liberal "Republicans". And while I don't particularly love RINOs, they are still a paradigm of virtue compared to any Democrat. There is a wide gulf between "not very good" and "absolutely terrible".

An amazing legacy and longest serving leader in Senate history. His vision captured the courts in a way that has real meaning. He charted the course to a real check on our current left-wing authoritarian. He was a great fund raiser and coordinated tight majorities rather well. Some people may not love him because he isn’t full blown orange, but he’s been a man of consistent principle that has pissed off libs for decades. God bless him for recognizing 82 is too old and for his service.

You should be thanking Harry Reid then. He set the stage for what McConnell did.

He also oversaw this terrifying explosion in our National debt. Good riddance

They don't need to worry tye RINO’s will replace him with someone just as leftist as he is. Look what they replaced McCarthy with.

People can't understand why the Republicans are divided? Its because you have true conservatives mixed in with leftist/RINO’S.
It looks like the true conservatives are tired of compromise and losing everything.

What a narrow and wild worldview. Painting McConnell as a leftish is laughable. Replacing McCarthy was a clear mistake. The deficit is not gone, the policies didn't change, and some would argue we got even less conservative results. The whole hiatus had more to do with the personal grievances of a few members under ethics investigations and one who wanted a moderate abortion bill. However, painting McConnell as a leftist RINO though isn't even true in today's bizarre world, where RINO means someone who isn't pledging allegiance to a former Democrat donor from New York.

    Who’s the RINO Now?

Trump has redefined the term to mean someone who isn’t loyal enough to him.

Mccarthy, and McConnell are both Democrat's with R beside their names.
If you have not looked at their voting records personally, and not took some websites take on it. You'll find that out also.
Unless you are or support socialist Republicanism as well you will see when it comes to socialism or constitution they go socialism.
Todd Young conservative, McCain conservative, Mitt Romney conservative, etc etc...

    Edit:

    I'll add this.
If you cannot vote with the constitution at least 75% of the time you are not a conservative.

And while I don't particularly love RINOs,
There are good RINO’s and bad ones. A good RINO example is Susan Collins, when she is gone that likely will be a permanent democrat seat, she gives republicans a better deal as a party. The worst RINO is Mitt Romney, he could have been a republican rock star by taking the Massachusetts senate seat, a state he was governor of, he could have taken the Michigan seat, a seat in a state his father was governor. But no, he takes the seat in a reliable conservative state of Utah. That is as bad as it gets in RINO land…

Now for Lindsey to go. Maybe we can actually fix the party from within. Probably not, but we can only hope.
The party is being broken. It just takes time to get rid of elected politicians, senators are in for six years. A trump is about to take over the RNC. Over 100 in the house have retired rather than be America First. Winning…

Conversely, some people may not love him because he continually insists pouring more billions down the Ukraine rat-hole is the most important issue before congress

THIS. And spare me the "Think of the NATO countries! Once he gets Ukraine, NATO countries are next!"
Fine. We are beholden to NATO countries. When he invades them, THEN we act. But not before.

I'm not against sending some military aid in the form of expiring munitions that are going to get cycled out anyway. Thats fine. But not the never ending stream of cash. Because you know what? Eventually, its going to get to a NATO country and we wont be able to help because we've already blown our load. Why?

Think back to the 80s when the USSR fell. Why did they fall? Because the US bankrupted them during the Cold War by out spending them and causing them to collapse because they couldnt keep up with us.

Now look at today's world. We have our financial fingers into everything. We are printing money and destroying our own economy. After we destroyed the USSR in the 80s, Did Russia learn from that and are now doing the same to us?

Isolationist worldviews, while vocal, are going to be well in the minority. From that perspective, when a vast majority of both sides think you are wrong- others can appear to be a “uni party.” Trump is going to end the war in 24 hours. If he's wrong, you're probably going to be disappointed.
