Isolationist worldviews, while vocal, are going to be well in the minority. From that perspective, when a vast majority of both sides think you are wrong- others can appear to be a “uni party.” Trump is going to end the war in 24 hours. If he's wrong, you're probably going to be disappointed.

Not sticking our pickle in every war that rolls along is NOT isolationist, it’s smart. Would be even smarter if we stopped trying to do regime change and color revolutions all over the planet and making the situations consistently worse. The morons in Washington can’t even run our country worth a , what makes them think they can run other countries better? Getting rid of Sadam started the whole domino train falling in the Middle East, we likely started world war 3 in Ukraine with nulands color revolution in 2014, we’ve been meddling in South America for decades, and what has it gotten us? Certainly not a safer world or a more prosperous America.

And yes, I know about the Middle East and Sykes picot back in the day, I’m talking about the modern issues. Sadam though brutal kept insurgents down. Once he was gone, terror groups popped up like dandelions, that spread into other countries with the “Arab spring” and led to powerful groups like isis also forming. All that fighting led to millions and millions of Arabs and Africans running to Europe and destabilizing those countries.

We need to take a note from Switzerland, be heavily and well armed for defense, and be happy to trade in peace.
