You need a permission slip to carry a handgun in public in Indiana. This is not new.

You need a permission slip to drive. My license doesn't get checked unless I commit an infraction. My carry license doesn't get checked unless I commit a crime.

Driver's license check has been decided by the supreme court. License to carry hasn't.

Ok I can see where it might come in handy. I was sitting here cleaning out my wallet. I am keeping my Star Trek fan club card. Some things are just too important.

    Don't look now, but:

Ind. Const. art. XII, § 1

    Ind. Code § 10-16-6-1.

    Ind. Code § 10-16-6-2.

In Indiana, no matter what your preferred pronoun, you can be in the militia. We are sooooooooooo progressive.

“Sedentary”. Eh. They got me there.

I saw this thread about when it started. The OP is kinda cringey given that a n00by posts something like that out of the blue. I really didn’t understand the need to publicize that. But whatever. It’s probably harmless. So I stayed out. I can see why some guys might poke some fun though. It is kinda odd for people to feel a need to signal something like that. I’d like to understand why. But the fact that he left kinda confirms the social dissonance there. I don’t blame him though. He apparently didn’t get what he sought.

I told my wife that "my oath is still valid."

It also led to questions about what I meant, and didn't seem to go over any better with her than it did with INGO.
