I don't know you, and I can't say anything to relieve your pain and sadness, but I'm very sorry about your loss.
I've only been with my wife for a mere 33 years (married for 27). I can only imagine what your dealing with, and it's a shame
that your kids don't visit you.

I don't want anyone to take it wrong on the kids. They will still come over just not as often. In the weeks before she passed, I just got used to them being over several times a week, mostly the daughter she was over to sit with her mom 4 or 5 times the last week or two. Plus you had the hospice people in and out several times a week also. So you go from almost constant people around plus your wife, to, many days with no one.

I can imagine that it suddenly got really quiet, probably too quiet.

Sorry for your loss. It sounds as if she was a fighter and that a little of her spirit will remain in your heart and mind.

I debated whether to post this or not, but there are several members that I consider friends that don't hang out in the OSUT.
She died last week and was buried Friday. We were married 38 years, and boyfriend/girlfriend for 42 years. We met at the Ponderosa in Kokomo. She was a Northwestern girl and I went to Taylor.
I miss her terribly. She had fought breast cancer for 6.5 years.
Terribly sorry to read about this, you and your family have my deepest condolences.

Rough patch brother. I will pray for you and have my greatest sympathies.

I fondly remember the Pondo. We drive to Anderson to eat at one of the only still around.

My current wife graduated from Taylor in '92. I graduated from dowtown KHS a decade before her.
