I don't want anyone to take it wrong on the kids. They will still come over just not as often. In the weeks before she passed, I just got used to them being over several times a week, mostly the daughter she was over to sit with her mom 4 or 5 times the last week or two. Plus you had the hospice people in and out several times a week also. So you go from almost constant people around plus your wife, to, many days with no one.I don't know you, and I can't say anything to relieve your pain and sadness, but I'm very sorry about your loss.
I've only been with my wife for a mere 33 years (married for 27). I can only imagine what your dealing with, and it's a shame
that your kids don't visit you.

Terribly sorry to read about this, you and your family have my deepest condolences.I debated whether to post this or not, but there are several members that I consider friends that don't hang out in the OSUT.
She died last week and was buried Friday. We were married 38 years, and boyfriend/girlfriend for 42 years. We met at the Ponderosa in Kokomo. She was a Northwestern girl and I went to Taylor.
I miss her terribly. She had fought breast cancer for 6.5 years.
