Some people have to learn the hard way. Unfortunately it appears that we now have an entire generation of dumb mf'rs that are literally falling over themselves to learn things the hard way. Terrifying, is it not?

During his sentencing he pleaded for mercy, saying that stealing the poster was the dumbest thing he has ever done. I agree with you, thinking that North Korea was a tourist destination is pretty high on the list.

Maybe he was,a fan of Dennis Rodman?

Yes yes and yes. He's a moron and I guess he got what he deserved. I don't feel pity for morons anymore because it seems like they're breeding out of control. They're everywhere! :runaway:

Apparently, today's college students don't know much about totalitarian regimes. I suppose it's a natural result of the end of the cold war.

"It doesn't feel real, this just doesn't happen to people. I can't comprehend it."

U.Va. students react to Otto Warmbier?s North Korean sentence | USA TODAY College

    Well, this guy got it.
Dominick Candelieri-Marcari, first year: “I kind of expected it. I was surprised that people were actually surprised that he was sentenced for 15 years and detained. I mean, North Korea’s not exactly a nation known for its hospitality or easy laws. … I understand that people would be up in arms about it, but people act like it wasn’t a foolish thing to do in the first place, which, in my opinion, it kind of was. I mean, if I went to North Korea, I would be walking straight lines, not even looking in the wrong direction.”

Most of these kids, and to tell the truth... Americans, view the world as an extension of the neighborhood around them.
They can't picture it being different.
Maybe this will open some eyes.

I would encourage travel to north Korea, tell people there are free iphones and PBR there. Might be a way to get rid of the young and dumb liberals.

I can't tell if this is from a North Korean court room or if it is a GOPe meeting?

He should have had one of these, like Papito Miguel had:

JDMack should be along any minute to explain how safe these third world dictatorships are. I hear the scuba diving is lovely there.

Want to live the good life? Seriously, go to North Korea, defect, and be a propaganda tool. You won't have to work, you have the best they have to offer, and you'd be a celebrity. Weird, but absolutely true.

For all our faults, I'm glad I live in America. You're free to go, even though we think you shouldn't. Andif you're dumb enough to do it anyway, we'll still do our best to help you get back.

    Not to thieves apparently.

Not to anybody. Not even prize animals in the zoo. The best they have to offer is still dismal.

ETA: But I'd love to sell your idea to the Bernie Bros. Maybe I could set up a GoFundMe page for moving to the socialist paradise of the NorKs.
