It is only my humble opinion, but I believe that Nancy Pelosi just stuck a fork in her political career. She's done. She may not realize it yet, but the demise of her reign is in sight, and it's accelerating beyond her control.
The House just passed their resolution for rules of impeachment inquery, or whatever they call it, strctly along party lines.
When leaving the Capitol after the vote, Nancy was reported to say, "This is a sad day...". I think she meant for her, NOT for America.
I have been wrong before, and likely will be again sometime, but I sincerely belive Nancy just screwed herself, and probably quite a few of her cohorts, with this resolution.
I talked to a millenial the other day at a gas station.
She initiated the conversation by commenting on my Trump 2020 hat.
She told me that the more she sees of him the more she likes him, and then said, "I really wanted HER to win, but now I see what a terrible idea that would have been."
She voted for Hillary, but now says she will vote for Donald Trump.
I realize that corn-fed Indiana is not a Democratic stronghold, but I think the Democrats have now dug themselves a hole that will take many election cycles to climb out from.
The Trump derangement syndrome is strong in the Democratic party, and I for one, am glad to see it finally coming to light.
