Out of action for 13 months and 37 races after a near-fatal accident--and wearing a black patch over his left eye--Irvan drove 400 exhausting laps in his return to Winston Cup stock car racing to finish sixth in the Tyson Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Patch Job by Irvan a Success : Motor racing: He finishes sixth, on same lap as winner Martin, despite having eye covered in Winston Cup return.

The way Ernie Irvan drove Sunday, maybe one eye is all he needs.

Back in the heyday they not only had sell outs, but also had waiting lists and that was before most if the tracks downsized because they couldn’t sell out…

Name the tracks that had waiting lists… Bristol was always a sellout but you could ALWAYS buy tickets from people standing on road to track selling them for personal gains “Ticket Scalping”

BTW…. Not ALL tracks have reduced seating capacity

I mean a sellout either means what it means or it doesn't mean anything. Every venue that sells all the seats it has available have people out there selling their tickets for whatever reasons, and people buying them.
