You would be shocked to know how many broken kids are out there, that turn into broken adults at 18 and are free to wreak more havoc.

Pray one's bleeding heart now doesn't result in a bleeding loved one later.

So he goes to till 18. Then he goes through probation. Changes his name and it's like nothing ever happened. Seems fair to the victims. Got to love the justice system.

As a teacher, I see this really lite sentence and it makes me worry about a kid thinking he can do this and little to nothing will happen to them. It mirrors a lot of our in school discipline. There’s got to be consequences! Lots of stressed out and mentally unstable students in Indiana right now. Schools better start getting some support systems in place.

Perhaps, in effort to rehabilitate this person, somebody could take him hunting when he gets out.... deep in a dark woods... with no witnesses.

There’s a lot of people stating they’d like to murder a 13 year old on this thread. Seems like the mods should shut it down at this point. Pretty classless stuff being said in here.
