Instead of donating money to the NRA I think I will buy some gift memberships. Problem is all of my family and close friends are already NRA members. Except my liberal brother in law.

Hey that gives me an idea.

When GOA even gets on the RADAR screen of the anti's...then we can talk...

I had not even heard of the GOA before this thread. I had to google them just to find out what GOA stood for. Better a weak Ally than no Ally.

Oh, and make sure its one of those memberships where he gets a free gift, like an NRA dufflebag or something. Hard to throw one of those away, they're pretty nice. I got one last renewal and use it as a second range bag.

After everything going on, I signed up last week. I couldn't sit around and watch all of the nonsense without doing anything.

I joined the GOA a couple of weeks ago. I felt like I needed to do something too. A lot of people trying to take away our rights!

During Mike Pence's upcoming attendance at this year's NRA Convention (Dallas) the Secret Service will not allow firearms in the Convention Center. Does this make the Convention Center a "gun free zone," and what are your thoughts on this, specifically, NRA members? Would you have preferred that the NRA decline to have him speak, to prove a point? And do you consider this a bit hypocritical?

I believe they should not have invited him.
I’m already seeing tweets and posts about the hypocrisy.

With th all the good guys with guns, it ought to be the safest place on earth. Etc.

    self inflicted political wound.
