He probably is spending his last moments with loved ones, the millions who follow him and made him famous. And I would bet his traditional family understands and is standing beside him.

And his wife is right there with him. I thought I heard him say something to her like he would Mr. Snerdley today.

He has no kids, parents are dead. He has one brother to my knowledge. he has a compound of homes in SE Florida. I'm sure his brother could come down. Also covid would likely be deadly for him which is tough.

but yeah, I agree his loved ones are the millions of listeners he has. It's an incredible bond that has developed over decades.

Yeah, I’m hearing it also. Sad day. Been listening to him on my daily commute for 30 years! My thoughts go out to his family!

Been listening to Rush for over 30 years.
He put up a good fight and lasted longer than I thought he would with a Stage 4 Lung Cancer diagnosis.
Will sure miss listening to him.

While all life comes to an end, some we wish could live longer than most. Rush was one who's voice will still live long after the body departs. His true presence will be missed.

Betting there are a few in DC who are dancing in their ivory towers.
