    It happened with EgyptAir 800.

Don't see why it's not possible here...

    I want my pilots HAPPY...

What a horrible way to end things. Taking 150 people with you...

The probable cause of the SilkAir flight 185 crash was guessed to be a deliberate act of one of the crew members. Intentional crashes do happen.

With respect to all the lives lost in these intentional crashes, it makes me wonder when our left wing loonies will push to ban aircraft that hold more than a certain number of people to prevent mass murder by aircraft.

As a pilot and aircraft mechanic, and just all around lover of aviation, these events make me sick. Pilots, if you want to fly into a mountain, do it solo!

And now wondering about the next "shoe to drop" hearing that the co-pilot said some religious words before impact.

That's one of the downside of having stronger doors since 9/11 if one of the pilots was locked outside and couldn't get in.
You would think they would have a key or a code to get access to the cockpit from the outside. :dunno:
They have a keypad on the outside, but it can be disabled from the cockpit.

I'll say it again...Can you imagine, being that pilot, locked out of that cabin, for 8 minutes, desperately trying to open that door...Man...

He had to know what was going to happen. I just cannot begin to imagine the horror that was experienced in that plane.

    Indeed...horrifyingly sad to think about.

I'm pretty sure I will never fly again. My husband won't. He was bad enough the two or three times he has flown. He does not like others in control of his destiny. This has convinced him that if he can't drive to wherever we need to go, we aren't going.
