Looks nice to you rear load it or breach load..??? Do you make your own ammo or is there a nice round that fits that size..???

Golf balls cannons have a secret place in my heart because of the wonder plentiful supply of cheap ammo...

It's a 2" bore smoothbore breech-loading cannon (the originals were rifled, but this one isn't).

It is a breech loader. So far, I haven't been making my own ammo, though eventually, I want to (got to get the carriage finished first... and really, I'd like to get the whole barrel reamed out and smoothed). For now, I have laid in a supply of cast zinc 2" balls (really, they are running generally about 1.94", which should give proper windage for a 2" bore) from a vendor on eBay. I'm assuming these were made for a ball mill or something like that.

That would be great if you are able to bring it. Check with Don and see if he would let you fire it there. I would love to see it fired and check out what it will do.

I already ran it by Don and he was okay with it as long as I was careful not to send a cannonball off range (one of the reasons I dropped my Linden membership and picked one up for Proteq, even though Proteq is about 15 minutes further away).

Me too. If you can bring it, tell me what jar of powder to bring to feed it. I cant help with the projectiles, but I sure can help with the powder!
