    Black Widow.... sigh....

There was a spider (not a black widow) in the garage and I squished it and out came a million baby spiders and then had to squish them some more. It was gross.

I could have went all day without seeing that evil picture, Zephri....

    Well here we go.

    1. I get vertigo on the 2nd floor of cabela's, yet I'm dying to go skydiving.

    2. I have a fear of being struck by a train and surviving.

    3. Compressed gas cylinders scare the bejeebus out of me, I have seen the effects of an explosion, and I test them all day long. 5/3 of service pressure, so its not full, its overfull.

    4. Drowning, I want to scuba, but I wont go past 15 or 20 feet.

3 and 4 kinda tie together with the compressed gasses. I'm a sissy I guess.

Okay your gonna laugh but I'm dead serious.

I'm scared Sh*tless of dolls. You know those antigue ones with those crazy looking eyes. I couldn't tell you why I just am. :nailbite:

When I was younger I stayed the night at a buddys house and his mom collected them. I had her put them all in a closet because I couldn't even look at them.

Most people who know me and fear being eaten alive bring extra candy bars when they travel with me. They know I have sized them up.

Is there a cool sounding word for being afraid of having to defend myself in a life or death situation? Because I have whatever that is....

I also have a severe dislike for crowds..... State Fair, The Zoo, Sporting Events. All really trigger that.... "I want to be elsewhere RIGHT NOW" feeling. I dunno if that qualifies as a phobia or just self preservation.

Agoraphobia is the abnormal fear of crowds. Your severe dislike seems more warranted than abnormal IMHO. Short of anxiety attacks, your situational awareness is probably just kicking on the turbo. If there is a word for the fear of having to defend yourself I also hope it is a cool word. It is what seperates you from the mall ninjas!

yeah I have the samething about heights and grating etc. also not a big fan of roller coasters. Which is kinda strange since I'm fine with flying on a plane or in a chopper. I spent some time as an aerial forward observer, and those pilots would fly nap of the earth at top speeds trying to make us toss our cookies. But I loved all that :):

Maybe I just feel safer in a plane or chopper ? :dunno:

Heights, especially long high bridges. Happy as heck in a tree though.

Falling... Vertical movement, especially of the sudden and fast kind, gives me panic attacks... Not terribly fond of spiders and snakes either... but I can get over that easily enough that I can't really call it a phobia
