because the OP gets extremely jealous. :(

I suffer from Range Envy. I am stuck in the middle of a neighborhood, in the middle of Fort Wayne. I think a range would be frowned upon!

I also suffer from "Stepoutbackandshootitus," a rare condition that effects us city dwellers.

    I know, I am a dork!

Well, if you can't go horizontal, go vertical. Dig yourself a hole that goes down 100 meters...

Thank you for bringing some much needed attention to Stepoutbackandshootitus, a condition that I too suffer from! From one survivor to another, let me give you a word of advice: If you have a lot of work piling up that absolutely must be done in a week's time, do NOT go out and buy a Saiga prior to completion of this work, especially if your home office is down the hall from the gun safe. I can hear it mocking me even now... :xmad:

There is a cure...and the first step is admitting you have a problem.

Now, put that house up for sale; buy some property out of town somewhere; build new house + nice, big shop + big pile of dirt >>> and problem solved. Your Stepoutbackandshootitus will be but a forgotten memory.

    Oh give me a home
    Where I'm all alone
Where the guns and the ammo are free
    Where seldom is heard
    Any anti-gun word
And the range master-shooter is me!

    Home, home on the range
Where the handguns and long guns can play
It's just out my back door
    Gettin' there's no big chore
There's no range fees, and it's open all day! :D

You can have it both ways, you know. Live in the city and still have a backyard range. Like that time I lived at 42nd and Post...

Please send me links to the home ranges, I'm in the process of building one and would love to see what others have done..... I feel for your Range Envy, that is why I bought 40 acres 10 years ago and have finally moved out onto it.

    ^^^lol

I feel your pain I have to drive out of town and all that to shoot myself.

When I was a wee teenaged shooter I could go for a walk to shoot but now not so. Not real sure I would want to go out back to shoot myself...either.

I also suffer from stepoutbackandshootitus, unfortunately being in the middle of the city leaves no hope for a cure anytime soon. Anyone know how many acres I would need to help with the cure?
