Well it finally happened. 42 degrees this morning walking the puppy, I find the one last spot of ice and eat it. Ankle, knee, and backside. Iced down the knee, it's the only area that really worries me. When I went down I may have said some not so pleasant words. Scared the puppy so bad she wanted to go back inside without doing her business.

Ouch! I'm getting ready to go out in the back yard and clean up our dogs' "business". It's not nearly as pleasant when it's wet and mushy (the yard, and the "business"). :(

With the puppy each pile is like opening a cracker Jack box. My favorite (I won't post the pics) was a giant turd with the eyeballs from one of her toys looking back at you.

The first time she ate a kids sock I was so worried I took her to the vet. They brought me into room to look at the x-rays. She says to me, yep that looks like it could be a sock in her stomach. She then points more towards the rear, right near the exit, and says what I'm really concerned about is this metallic object. Dog had eaten a twist tie. She passed everything without a problem. Picture a turd placed carefully inside a sock, a neon green sock.

 Thankfully our dogs are well past the "eat anything that will fit in my mouth" stage, so no surprises.

66*f here right now, got the windows open and a couple fans pulling the air through the house. Both of us are wearing tshirts and shorts, The Boss wanted to turn on the a/c! Even got daffodils coming up in a few spots, one place even has some flower buds popping up. Crazy IN weather.

57 degrees at 9:30 PM. Icing on the cake; seems like the furnace has hardly ran today.

Don't remember the temp a week ago?

70° swing from Thursday morning to Monday afternoon. That's a new record for us up here.

The old record was from 1943 when we had set the all time low temp of -22.

We had a similar weather pattern in 2014, near record cold followed by massive warm up.

Is that just coincidence? Or is their something about extreme cold weather patterns that suck warm air in behind them?:dunno:
