My theory on the consistency of Presidents, especially foreign policywise, is as soon as they see those national security reports, the weight of the office comes to bear.

I have to agree. Nobody RUNNING for president has all the info they need to know for sure what their plans are really going to be.

I'm never a fan of using the threat of holding back federal funds as political punishment.

Agreed, the feds should stop taking money that belongs in the states to begin with. They should not be 'redistributing the wealth' of the states based upon their obedience to federal policy. Stop doing things they shouldn't be doing, stop taking money they shouldn't be taking. Please.

Don't forget that most legislation is going to have to get through the Senate with a 2/3 majority. The Dems may not be able to enact their gun-control agenda, but they certainly have enough votes to block pro-gun laws.

No...more...excuses. Figure out a way to get it done, period. The dims would. Time to win, in the parlance of our newly elected.

At most we're only postponing the inevitable. Having the SCOTUS pick is a big help as long as Trump follows through with what he promised. But if you really want to reverse the trend towards socialism, we have to take back the schools first.

And that is why home school is such a big deal now...lots of folks getting tired of indoctrination not education.

We homeschooled my son, he went off to college and drank some cool aid by the time he was a sophomore, as a senior he was right of Regan. But yeah, there is a major sea change that needs to happen.
