I posted a pic of my first sgl, post date is 11-06-11. I havn't posted my newest one yet, I bought it last september. It has the plum colored furniture, I plan on changing to a collapsable buttstock and the MI handguard, going with the dark earth color.

yeah... no. it's obviously a thousand dollar rifle... Jesus H Morphidite Bald Headed Christ. I will never again post any information that is meant to advise others about a situation.
Rest assured, you allstar wannabe's have completely cured me of ever doing anything like that again.
It's time for this thread to end. Would one of the admins please be so kind as to make that this thread is closed.

Hate me or not... I've purchased ammo beyond retail prices and sold it for a profit. I'll buy anything I think I can sell at a profit though. It's simple economics. Times are tough, and I do anything I can to supplement my income. If it means buying/reselling ammo for a profit, then that's what I'll do. :)
You gotta do what you gotta do to take care of your family. I can't fault anyone for that. :yesway:

Dunhams of anderson is trying to sell a century wasr 10 for 849.99.
I think the problem here is you thought you were on the Forum that supports the 1st amendment. This forum is only for those who support the 2nd amendment. Now if they there were a sign that said no guns allowed on these premises then you would have been a hero for posting your information. If I don't like the title of a post I skip it, I usually don't enter just to bash the OP. I am kind of new here so I am still wading into the waters of posting. Thanks for showing me what not to post.

No, this is a forum where we come to bash socialists like Obama and Pelosi only to all but demand price controls on guns and ammo.

It seems to be what ever the market will bear

Fortunately, the market will not bear that price, hence, it is still on the shelf. That is why we arec seeing AR's coming down from the $2800 price point and we will see them shortly back to pre panic prices. I think everyone who was willing to drop $2800 on an AR ha already done so.

I have noted who has taken advantage of their customers and I have decided to no longer do business with them. Due to all of this, I have discovered other outstanding shops such as Bradis, BGF, & Elmore's. they will now get my business!

Some would say that its only a rarity because of gouging...

I dont know where its all going. But I DO know, I go to several walmarts though the week, based on where Im driving my truck that day, and 5 days out of 7 I see a few guys with dissapointed looks on their faces, walking away from the ammo lockup. I also noticed that 2 of those 7 days the same 4 or 5 guys are standing by the counter waiting for the sporting goods guy to show up, even though there is no ammo in the lockup... They are all very happy for some reason..

Ive heard alot of rumors of people cherry picking the ammo. Whether or not its happening, or if it is, if they are buying it to resell, I do not know. But either way, its BS...

The way I see it, it is just as factual that you only complain about something when it effects you, as you do not complain when you are manipulating the trade.

As Ive stated, I always kept 1000rnds back, just for this situation, but, me not being "forced" to buy at gouged prices, doesn't mean I all of a sudden approve of it...

What's messed up is this isn't gouging, I work for dunhams, that price is using the same markup as before, go ***** at century, they've done the price jacking, we got two of the pieces of **** sitting on the shelf right now that aren't selling, if you gave me 850 and told me to buy one I'd decline, stop buying **** guns at stupid prices, if ya didn't want one before, ya prolly don't need it now
