In submachinegun form, it would be a P90, the version our government will not allow us to keep and bear.

    And now for a .45ACP versus 5.7x28 flame fest!!! :D :D :D :D :D

I am looking to put people down. So I'll stick with the .45acp.. The 5.7x28 is pretty much a .22WMR. If I was going use a small caliber, I'd just take an M4 in 5.56

Going with the kriss for the same above reasons. If SHTF 5.7 is going to be hard to find plus 45 makes a bigger hole. I think both are amazing but I go for the Kriss

.45 is out of a carbine is going to be a real manstopper. But 5.7 ammo is easy to find locally and if you can afford the rifle you can afford to have some on hand. I like the idea of 50 rounds in the gun and the ability to carry a lot of rounds in a relatively light package. My vote goes to the PS90.

I don't see it.. The 5.7 is pushing a 40gr bullet at about 2600 fps... The 5.56 pushed a 55gr at 2900 fps.... Unless you're using the V-Max both of them will zip right through your target just as troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have been doing for years now, and now find themselves looking for a more potent round. The 5.7 isn't the wonder round it is made out to be.

For CQB from personal real world experience. I would take the .45 Kriss if I were clearing rooms... I wouldn't even give the PS-90 a thought if I had an M4 available.

I own both, and the Kriss is completely unreliable. They work for a couple magazines, then once they get even a little dirty they start to malfunction. If you want reliable, get the PS90.

Kriss is French for piece of s***! I had one once and had every problem you could imagine with it the first day out. I took it back to Elmore's (where I bought it) and they could not have been nicer to deal with. If you can't trust them on the range, I definately wouldn't trust it with my life.

Thats weird cause our sample sbr and machine gun are very reliable for us. Ours might get a bit finicky after about 1000 rounds in full auto with the can on it, but it's been a great gun. I don't think we had single malfunction with it at NFA or the 2-3 other demo's it's been too. Our MP5 however needed cleaned about 1/2 way through the day.

That's odd, I've yet to meet another Kriss owner that had such good luck with theirs. Blythes Sports, where I bought mine, will tell you all the problems they've had with them. They are/were authorized dealers but you won't see a single Kriss in their showroom now days. Nothing but problems.

I've had the bolt replaced in mine... still no luck. I've had the ejector replaced... still no luck.
