I love me some revolver action! Smith and Wesson K-frames are my favorite. I own a model 10, 18,19, 66, K22, and a model 36. I am on the hunt for a Model 29-1 or 29-2 right now. Pre-lock and preferably pinned and recessed are my favorites.

I have several. But I will admit I don't shoot them as well as some of my other guns. I have been telling myself I don't need one of those new GP100s in 44 spl. Or one of those Wiley Clapp GPs with the 3" barrel. But my will is weak...

Love revolvers. S&W 10 and 19; two DWA 15, two US Arms Abilene's in 357 and 44. Shoots circles around polymer. Or is that just the cylinder going in circles

Dan Wesson blued .357 W/4", 6" and 8" barrels and a S&W 686. Never fails to impress me how much more accurate my stock wheel guns are VS my stock autos.

Own revolvers and semi's, shoot the revolvers 99% of the time. I think it has a lot to do with how old you are.

I always say I'm not much of a revolver guy but I do own a few and really like them. They are:
Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley with 3.75" barrel 44 Mag
Ruger Redhawk 4.2" barrel 44 Mag
    Ruger Single Nine 22 Mag
Ruger New Bearcat Shopkeeper 22 LR
Smith & Wesson Model 60 Performance Center 357 Mag
My next revolver will hopefully be a New Colt Cobra.

:draw:I really enjoy the wheel guns. Every time I say I don't need another gun, S&W comes up with something else to part me with my money. The 627 with a 2.65" barrel was my last purchase

Not as much to discuss - they just work. lol No plastic, faulty mags, FTF, etc.

I have quite a few customers ask me,

"You have a gun shop and can have and carry any gun you want and you always have one or two revolvers on you...Why?"

"Revolvers don't have a little button that sticks out on the side against my hip bone that if pressed makes my cylinder fall out of the revolver and onto the ground..."

"You mean the mag release button?"

    "That's the one..."

    "Oh..."

"Plus if I leave it in the car on a hot day it won't melt..."

    "Now you're just being a d**k...."

"Yes, albeit a kind of funny one..."

    :)

    I'm a major 'wheel-gun-guy'...who merely CC's a Glock 36 for convenience sake...as 6+1 isn't all that much different, round-wise, than a revolver...it's just easier to CC! I EDC'd a 2.25" SP101 in .357 for 10+ years...and still have it! I've tried a few others...but the G36 just 'fits' best for me!

Ruger is my revolver of choice...I've owned several different Ruger Revolvers including a 6.5" Stainless Single-Six (the first revolver I ever purchased), seven (7) GP100's (with my 4" fixed-sight in .357 magnum being, hands-down, my favorite), four (4) SP101's (I regret selling the 2.25" .38 special and the 3" .357 magnum), an Alaskan in .454 Casull...and my biggest regret in selling was a stainless 2.75" Security-Six in .357 magnum...oops!

Just can't beat 'em for ruggedness, reliability, accuracy, comfort, etc. I've owned a few other brand revolver's...just kept coming back to the Rugers for the reasons listed! Out in the field...nothing beats a Ruger Revolver!

Smith & Wesson 686, 27 and 29 all with action jobs by Denny Reichard at Sand Burr Gun Ranch in Rochester. The sweetest shooting revolvers you can ever own.
