Crud... The guy was a genius, both at drumming, as a lyricist, a novelist, and in life. The netflix documentary mentioned earlier is a good one to watch.

Damn, this is sad news. RIP Neil. I only got to see them once, when they toured with Max Webster. Fantastic show. I remember Geddy Lee coming out on stage with Max Webster wearing a Nixon mask to sing on Battle Scar.

Saw them on that same tour, 1981 IIRC, at MSA. Great show.

Wonder if his cancer was a big reason behind the band retiring? Almost sounds like it by what Geddy Lee said at the time. Even heard something the other day about some people pushing them to get back together for a brief reunion.
