Rural king doesn't really cater to a diverse market, so one would expect that they wouldn't want to rock the boat and offend their core shopper.

Yup we now have a RK near us. Ammo prices better than Wal-Mart, funny thing is you pick up ammo off shelf and proceed to checkout, what a concept!

From what I am told their mo is to locate out of business stores, ie old Kmart and convert them over. Explains why there are so many at old kmarts.

It doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Firearm and ammo sales are a huge chunk of change to Rural King. The company is not that stupid. What I am waiting to see is if they will ban open carry or will they just follow Indiana law on the issue.

Came through Ft Wayne yesterday, bought two boxes of .40 off the shelf at RK. Other prices I checked on standard handgun ammo were the same (IMHO) except one brand of 9mm a dollar less I noticed from WM. But to me that's the problem now, no RK's anywhere nears Fishers.

Found a RK location in Kokomo.
I only roll up there to hit the range so mental note to stop there and support them.
