    It's tough to do.
    When I was a Rookie we didn't have Breathalyzers. :fogey:
    The Officers testimony, Eyewitness accounts, and statements made by the Suspect were about all we had to get a conviction.
    Of course the conviction rate for DUIs back then was pretty dismal too.
    was saying his speech was slurred he had blood shot eyes and smelled of alchohol good enough to get a conviction?

    Nope!!
    Not in our Courts.
    There had to be other substantiating evidence to back up those signs of intoxication.

    I'm not going to say that he deserves anything, if I did that would be my biased opinion. But i will say that if he doesn't lose his job he will probably lose his position as school resource officer at Seymour Highschool.:twocents:

    I do think that the punishment should fit the crime though, whatever that punishment should be.
