    Lets see your Christmas tree.

Just like the title says. Take a picture of your Christmas tree. Here's a picture that I took the other night when me and the family were sitting down watching the polar express. I think are dog enjoys the fire more than we do.

Ok, I know, I'm late to the party.
But I finally video'd the lights, so I can finally take them down.
Here is my tree in the house. I know, the room is messy.

Very impressive act277. I hope the wife, kids and all the neighbors helped you to put up all those lights. How long did it take to do all that?

Do you use special equipment to synchronize the lights & the music?

    No wife or kids.
But my brother (repeter1977) and his wife (silver) helped me 3 or 4 days, and a friend helped 1 day.
I use Light-O-Rama controllers and software. I have 2 controllers, each has 16 outputs.
I'm hoping to add another 2 controllers next year.
I've already have the outputs planned, and most of the lights bought.
Basically, I want to add another "tree of lights".
The one you see is 6 blue and 6 green strings.
Each string goes to the top, then back down, forming an upside down V.
I want to make a new "tree", with 12 red and 12 white.
The tree would be 2x as high, so each string only goes up.
Then a few more lights to use the rest of the outputs.

The lights are timed the old fashioned way.
    Program looks like a spreadsheet.
Time goes from left to right.
The lights are listed goingv down.
I listen to the song at half speed.
When I hear a note, I pause, click on the output I want, and decide how long it stays on.
After a dozen or so notes, review at normal speed to check.
    Repeat a million times.
Wizards in winter took about 3 solid days each.
I cheated on Boogie Woogie Train. There is a beat editor. I told it to turn certain lights on every so many beats.
Each group, a different amount of beats.
Come All Ye Faithful was relatively quick, it's not as "busy".

    Edit: Nice display BTW

Lowes was selling a package this past Christmas season that has the music and controllers in a box. Plug and play. This is what we did. I added an FM transmitter to play the music so you can stay in your car and less stuff outside for people to steal.

The transmitter also keeps the neighbors happy. The same songs played on a speaker all night might make them unhappy.
I would like to add a speaker. But it would be on a pushbutton activated timer.
