That was a nice way of putting it that I should of did a quick search before starting a new thread Thanks
Humbug.
Very impressive act277. I hope the wife, kids and all the neighbors helped you to put up all those lights. How long did it take to do all that?
Do you use special equipment to synchronize the lights & the music?
Could you PM me your Address? My Family and I drive around watching displays like this starting 2 weeks before Christmas and I would be more than happy to through your house on our Route!!No wife or kids.
But my brother (repeter1977) and his wife (silver) helped me 3 or 4 days, and a friend helped 1 day.
I use Light-O-Rama controllers and software. I have 2 controllers, each has 16 outputs.
I'm hoping to add another 2 controllers next year.
I've already have the outputs planned, and most of the lights bought.
Basically, I want to add another "tree of lights".
The one you see is 6 blue and 6 green strings.
Each string goes to the top, then back down, forming an upside down V.
I want to make a new "tree", with 12 red and 12 white.
The tree would be 2x as high, so each string only goes up.
Then a few more lights to use the rest of the outputs.
Lowes was selling a package this past Christmas season that has the music and controllers in a box. Plug and play. This is what we did. I added an FM transmitter to play the music so you can stay in your car and less stuff outside for people to steal.
