Sort of on topic but it mixes in with the coronavirus (c-virus).
    I can see the c-virus helping/hurting trump.
Depending on his response and how well he can convince the people that they are safe due to his leadership.

I think it would only hurt. The economy is going to take a hit. If causes the economy to slow significantly, especially extending deep into election season it could hurt.

Saw in an article the Rasmussen has black likely voters at a 41% approval of Trump, which surprised me in all this turmoil. Even if only half cast a vote for Trump it is a game changer...

It will be interesting to see if that shifts once this rioting stuff and the reactions to it have had time to shake out.

Van Jones on CNN said, it is "undeniable" the Trump administration has been doing things positive for the black community and is engaging in unprecedented outreach.

With all the media and their democrat partners can throw against the fan, on August 9th Rasmussen had Trump black likely voter approval at 36%. I believe these numbers to be unprecedented in modern times.

Recent polling has shown overwhelming support for the same or more police in black communities not support for defunding.

We conservatives need to do our part to reach out to blacks and welcome them to our coalition to take back America from the leftists/Marxists. The majority of the black community wants stability, good education, upward mobility, freedom to worship in their churches, good jobs and respect. Without them we likely will fail. Want to know just how important their vote is? An analysis of the senate, done many years ago, found that if the black community voted 50/50 at that time there would have only been 6 democratic senators. It is just that big of a deal to get 90% of 13% of the population

So let us all do our part to break the democratic hold on the black vote a MAGA!!!

"Democrats' push to promote mail-in voting this fall could be undermined by an important fact: Some of their key constituencies don't trust it.
Black and Latino voters consistently voice more discomfort and uncertainty about voting by mail, even as a majority of Democrats overall say they plan to cast absentee ballots this fall, according to polling and focus groups."

Van Jones was one of the progennitors of the First Step Act, him and some lawyer from the bay area. Kardashian of all people lobbied Trump to stump for it, which he did, and it passed with bipartisan support.

It's the most positive comprehensive criminal justice reform bill in modern times and, as we say now, disproportionately aids black people.

Trump unironically passed criminal justice reform while Biden was a crime bill author and Kamela kept people locked up for weed.

Again, I'm anti Trump but you can't make this **** up.

At this point I just hope that President Trump thwarts the globalists' plans to roll us all into the new digital only currency system and that he prevents them taking down our government. If he can pull those two things off then the globalists may have the opportunity to learn first hand what Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto meant about filling the giant with a terrible resolve.

    From The Hill

President Trump’s support among black voters rose 9 percentage points amid the Republican National Convention, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Twenty-four percent of registered black voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.

That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.

The survey found support among Hispanic voters also grew by 2 percentage points, from 30 percent in the last poll to 32 percent in this most recent survey.

More positive news on this topic. Trump is polling 13 points better now than 2016 in Miami-Dade county.

“If you’re the Biden campaign, looking at these numbers, I think there’s reason for pause,” said Fernand Amandi, the Miami-based pollster and Democratic strategist behind the poll. “If Biden under-performs in what should be one of his strongest counties — and is certainly the largest county for Democratic votes in the state of Florida — it might imperil his chances of winning Florida unless there is a massive white voter exodus from Trump in other parts of the state.”

Trump beat Biden by one point among Hispanic voters. And a small detail in the piece notes that two-thirds of all respondents who chose to conduct their interviews in Spanish supported Trump.
    Quinnipiac found similar results.

In 2016, then-candidate Trump won 28 percent of the Hispanic vote, according to exit polls. Now, recent surveys by Pew and Emerson College show the president nationally at 35 percent and 37 percent, respectively, among Hispanics. Either one would be the highest Hispanic vote total for a Republican presidential candidate since 2004.

A similar pattern has emerged in states with large Hispanic populations. In Florida, a survey by Democratic polling firm Equis Research found Biden running 11 points behind Hillary Clinton’s Hispanic vote margin over Trump in a state that she lost. According to a new NBC/Marist poll released this week, among Latino voters, Trump is leading in the Sunshine State with 50 percent compared to Biden’s 46.

A recent Rice University and Texas Hispanic Policy Foundation poll found Biden trailing Clinton’s Hispanic vote margin over Trump by a whopping 18 points. Meanwhile, a new Bendixen & Amandi pollfound Trump crushing Biden by 38 points among Cuban Americans, which had been previously trending Democratic.

Since the June 2019 Miami launch of our Latinos for Trump coalition, our team has knocked on the doors of millions of Hispanic households across the country, hosted a slew of Latinos for Trump online broadcasts and roundtables at small businesses, and opened black and Hispanic outreach offices in key states.

"A minor panic emerged from the Joe Biden camp after polls suggested that Hispanic voters in Florida are less supportive of their nominee than expected. Their confusion comes from believing in the idea that voters’ racial or ethnic backgrounds are the most important things about them. Combine that with incorrect ideas about what issues actually matter to people, and you have a campaign and a party that seriously misunderstands the electorate."
