    WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only State in the southeast we can't carry with an Indiana LTCH. Hopefully that will be corrected soon.

Today, the House voted 87-26 to pass House Bill 3594, the constitutional carry bill. H 3594 recognizes the right of law-abiding adults to carry a firearm for self-defense without having to first pay fees or obtain government permission, while also increasing penalties for criminals caught with firearms. H 3594 now goes to the Senate for further consideration. NRA will keep you updated as it receives a committee assignment.

    Saw these updates online [1]
UPDATE (Feb. 22, 2023) - On Feb. 14, the House Judiciary Committee voted 16-7 to advance H 3594 in South Carolina. It now heads to the House floor for a vote.

UPDATE (Feb. 23, 2023) - On Feb. 23, the South Carolina House voted 87-26 to pass H 3594. It will now head to the Senate for a vote.

UPDATE (May 2, 2023) - On Feb. 23, North Carolina lawmakers introduced HB 189. The bill was referred to the House Judiciary 2 Committee. On May 2, the committee voted 7-4 in favor of the bill. It will next head to the House floor for a full vote.

UPDATE (May 4, 2023) - On May 3, the North Carolina House pulled the bill before its scheduled floor vote. It may be postposed until the next year’s legislative session.

Looks like these both stalled for some reason. NC has a super majority and can override Gov. Cooper. Don't know about SC.

    Anyone have more details?

I saw the news about the South Carolina Senate proposing all sorts of amendments to gut the Constitutional Carry bill that passed their House. If modified it would have to go back to the House and would undoubtedly fail. Reminds me of some of the Constitutional Carry sturm und drang in our legislature.

It's amazing to think this is the same place that first seceded.

The "nation" is going to Hell in a handbasket.
