I feel sorry for the family. It's always terrible to lose a child. That said, there's so many types of stupid going on here that it boggles the mind!

You have to remember, it's a news report. Chances are none of the circumstances reported are anywhere near accurate.

The story says something about the kid "dropping the magazine" before firing. Wonder if he actually shot himself, thinking it was empty, and the "tank" story is a lie..
