Or you can refuse to obey and practice a little civil disobedience. Police can refuse to enforce it.
Or people can petition change in a bunch of other ways.

"Love it or leave it" is the mantra of people who endorse Big Government. There is not a lot to love about our current library of over-reaching laws and bloated government.

This. We still have ways of fighting these unjust laws. It just takes a little effort on the part of the people. I'd say a little civil disobedience is NOTHING compared to what our founding fathers did for THEIR rights.

We need to get away from our current defeatist attitude...

If you go to Tennessee and break the law intentionally you should be ashamed of yourself. It is a law and should be obeyed by all good little citizens

I don't know if you have been to Memphis ever, and if so for how long, but this comment has more truth that most people realize.
