Breaded Gator bits are good. had some in the Everglades last year. Reminded me of fried clams, or calamari, except slightly firmer.

Thailand is muey beautiful. It is too bad SE Asia is still so poor though. I would gladly visit if I felt it was safe.

I was at the airport a few weeks ago and saw this sign. I'm not exactly sure what the deal is with this room.

They have recently been demolishing slums near my apartment. The residents have put up quite the struggle. They are yelling at the guys on bulldozers and have taken to sleeping on the rubble. There are still a lot of slums left to be demolished in my area. The bulldozers were tearing down these peoples houses while all of their possession were still inside. I feel kind of bad for them.

If you have ever wondered what happens to your lawn mowers when they go to die, I have found the answer. They end up in Thailand. These are pictures of the service vehicles/trash trucks/sewage tankers that are used on campus. They are all powered by old lawn mower engines.
