Come now, there has been plenty of legal precedence on interpretation of the oxford comma in lists.

This statute, as worded, clearly defines “Chinese throwing star” as a:
    throwing-knife,
    throwing-iron,
or other knife-like weapon with blades set at different angles.

    Good luck with that.

Not sure exactly what they were good for...

Distraction. They were thrown to distract you from a spear thrust or sword chop.

If you watch the opening of most (Northern) Chinese martial arts (Eagle Claw, Long Fist, Bandit, Praying Mantis, inter alia), you will see a hand throwing sand, coins, sharpened coins, etc., into the face of the opponent.

The fan also served his purpose. The fan distracted while the other dagger brought the dagger, sleeve sword or scraper sword on target.

This is old stale news. We need to repeal the Russian Spetznatz ballistic knives. Now that is something to really end a Royale Rumble Extraordinaire!

Most people think it is crazy when learning that throwing knives are covered...

Does a circular saw blade meet the definition of a throwing star?

So what defines a "blade" on a throwing star? Does a series of triangles without sharpened edges constitute "blades"?

Dang! I never knew they were outlawed. I bought a few in the 70's, but have no idea where they are now. Are nunchuks illegal too?
We used to punch "stars" out of sheet metal in high school. Always laughed at the dozens of these stars stuck into ceiling tiles in the hall outside of metal shop. :)

And up the invention a little. How about a multi shot re cock able 6 1/2 inch circular saw blade thrower. Say one mounted on an old tractor tire like the one we use to throw clay’s to shoot with shotguns.

Wait... wouldn't saw blades be illegal under the current statute?

Lowes and Home Depot are going DOWN!
