Surprisingly enough throwing stars (shuriken) are legal over here.My local shop has a few models for sale.
And yet I never heard of anyone getting attacked or killed by one of those ... they are also very impractical to carry.

Rhino is probably the only reason why they are illegal in Indiana.
There's no way he wouldn't cut himself if he could legally buy one.
It's like a knife where the handle is also a blade.
