It's just been that kinda day. We HAD A BLAST! Even the burned meat was pretty good. Done over hickory coals, caveman style. Got to shoot Riley 1 and 2. Some fine workmanship on display. The Mouse is a hoot to hang with. And I never did get to shoot that 10 MM. Dangit! Great day for a get together. 300 blackout, 8mm Mauser, .223, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, shorty slugs, .500 S&W. Skorpions, AR's of every stripe. Even some dumdum busting rimfire action.
About the most fun you can have with your pants on.

What a stellar day. Good people, lots of great guns, good food, steel has been punished, weather was a gift.

    Couple of pics.

KJ's view. You can not see the steel rack in the pic but it is out past the object on the left.

If you look real hard just into the shade on the right there is steel. Steel is real. The berm behind is 430 yds. We did not make it out that far today. I hit the berm a few times but only because I missed the steel.

    What a fabulous time !
First, thanks to our hosts Rick and Barb for providing such a stellar place to shoot, and for fabulous food, and for 'patience' with old guys !
And thanks to my new bud, Tim, for inviting me to join the group today.

It really was a marvelous day, and a joy to be with so many good people having fun.
I enjoyed meeting and being with all of you ! :)

Really missed the Wizard and BA over the weekend. Hope you two are feeling better soon. Just north of Lexington for the night on my way to S Carolina. Looks like I have squirrel hunting company coming in next weekend. Might have to make some blackberry cobbler.
