Thanks Rick, it took a long time for you to convince me, but you have changed me. :)

Looking forward to hearing what you and your bride think after a few mags down the barrel.

The Wizard did both, but the Phantom, is, shall we say, seasoned. It's 1911 smooth.
It has plenty of post upgrade rounds through it. The Wizard has done many, many, many guns for me. Sometimes the stars (meaning the tolerances) just line up and you end up with a truly elite gun. It's happened quite a few times for us and the results are just...I don't know how to describe it. The Phantom is squarely in that category. Probably in the top five triggers I have ever owned. I think that's saying something. The Wizard rules.

Reichard and Wizard. Two best trigger men in the country and they are right here in Indiana. Of course, Reichard only works on simple SW revolvers - nothing like a decocker CZ!

I still need to get with Reichard to have my S&W 66 tuned up. I used to have a 586 that had a wonderful trigger. Traded it for my first CZ. Sure do miss that one, but I'm still happy that I got the CZ.

I have found out that Phantom's made before 2016 such as BA's now KJ's has a 2mm trigger pivot pin. After 2016 they were changed to a 2.5 mm. At the time that was early in my CZ Cajunizing days and Birds Away could chime in with exactly how early! Anyway at that time they did not have a 85C trigger with a 2.5mm trigger pivot pin hole so I had to drill the pivot pin hole on the new 85C trigger to a little under 2.5 and then use tightly rolled sandpaper to get to the 2.5mm. This was a long time ago it seems and as BA said it is a one of a kind! The other Phantom's I have done since have been made after 2016.
As I mentioned last night to a gathering of special tactical old farts the first Phantom was quite the transformation and is one of if not the best CZ's I have done! The Phantom is different as far as putting it back together because of the sub assembly with the sear cage ,hammer, trigger bar has to go together just right to work. I think I had it apart 3-4 times before I figured it out and this is why I tell anyone wanting to do a CZ themselves that the manual safety gun is easier to do than a de-cocker because of a couple extra tiny fricken springs that tend to take flight never to be found. Then you have the Phantom "The Holy Grail of PITA Cajunazation for a first time job!! All Cajunized CZ's turn out great but you will find that a small number of them turn out more than fantastic! I have been lucky to see some when completed that stand out as really fricken great! On some there is a fine line between great and fricken great and only a true trigger snob will feel it.
