    Yes it is. I'm salary and have been specifically told I don't need to worry about 8 hour days or getting 40 hours per week, as long as the work is done. Gives me a lot more flexibility ;)

    Kids barely get a summer break. They get weeks in the spring and fall.

    I can make an argument either way. How you divide up 180 days probably has little impact on the actual education they receive by 12th grade.

    Hit it hard. Drive 'em hard. Then take the summer off and let kids be kids. Rinse repeat.

    Maybe t-dogg is right, I am old...

    Summer was our time growing up. Camping/boating adventures etc. and yeah I am old.
