Morning everyone! It’s Friday! Gonna be a busy weekend.

Snow tomorrow, then the cold comes. I’ll send warm thoughts once our plane lands in San Diego on Sunday. Training for a new property tax software Monday-Wednesday and then headed home Thursday. Friday is a vacation day.

As much I don’t like airports or flying, I’m looking froward for this trip this time. Headed somewhere nice instead of dingy, Alexis gets to come along and it will be warm. Alexis also gets to fly for the first time and due to the difficulty getting a direct flight to San Diego, we get a layover going both way. So 4 airports and 4 planes.

Love the landing in San Diego. Oh look a building 100 feet below us. Great place to visit but could never live there again.

Looks like several of you are shooting today. Fire off a few for me.

My back still has me stuck at home. I'm getting better and hoping to get out next week.

I just got back from shooting with CM and have to agree that it was a great range trip. I brought the S&W 581 home after getting to run it a bit. The high polish 75B ran very well as did the P01. Even the 40P/hybrid ran well with only one hiccup on one mag. I need to see if I’ve upgraded the spring in that mag as it looks like a really old mag. I also tested out a new .357 Mag reload and really like how it felt. I’ll run a batch with different powder levels to see what the guns like best but as it is, it’s a fun round to shoot.

CM’s PCC is sweet. That gun is just too easy to shoot accurately. You seriously feel like John Wick running that thing.

You actually looked like JW when you ran it.

When we first got to the range and I tried out my Phantom I couldn't hit anything, then I tried one of MM's guns, then I shot HB's P01 (which I've really been wanting to try one of those) and I couldn't miss with it - Sweet! i Then tried my Phantom again and it was a totally different experience. I cannot tell any difference in how I shot when I first got there versus before I left, but I was finally putting them where I was aiming. The 97 that I tried was magnificent! I'm not sure exactly what all I shot, but they were all fun to shoot, but the ones that stand out were the 97, 75B, P01, and my Phantom - in no particular order. And I believe the 75B and 97 were stock.
I sure enjoyed meeting MM and HB. Could have easily spent the day with these guys!

I always have a warmup period when I shoot. My first few targets are always my worst. I get better the longer I shoot. Not necessarily good, but better.

Nice to see you guys running stuff together.

I took my P01 out this morning and am wondering why I don’t shoot that one more often. I do think that I need to raise the pull a bit as it’s right at a 2# SA. Too light for carry but it sure does make me smile on the range.

CM, put your fingers in your ears and close your eyes for a moment...

I stopped by The Outdoorsman in Greenwood at lunch to pick up another box of XTPs for reloading and they had the two new Glocks in. Both were the silver slide 10 round pistols, G43X and G48 I think. Both are quite thin but seem large for a 10 round gun. They felt good in the hand though. Not on my want list, but I could see where some will like them.

Ok CM, you can open your eyes again and pull your fingers out of your ears.
