So its not just me! I sold a couple of 17s to buy a 1911 and a gsg 1911 which lasted about 2 months! They are both gone and I am on the hunt to replace them! It always seems like a good idea to try new stuff, I know it wont last, but I try anyway! I love glocks!

My 19 converted me to like the Glock brand. The fit and finish is good for a polymer frame. I still think it's one ugly tool, however it tucks away nice. I still prefer my 92fs for OC.

I have had the same one since 1996 and could never imagine parting with it. It was given to me by a friend who has since passed, so I am sure that plays a big part subconciously. If I shoot 4 times a month the glock19 goes 3 of those.

I've had a gen 2 g-19 for 12 years and it would be the one handgun I would keep above all others as well. It is perfect for ccw. I like it so well I have decided I would like to get the souped up version in addition. I'm talking about the g-32. which I see the .357 sig as a 9mm magnum. I wouldn't replace my 9 mm because of the low cost and wide availability of ammo. But I do like the thought of having a little more horsepower while still using holsters I already have and having the same great feel, balance and reliability.

I bought mine as a backup to my 17 and she quickly moved to primary. Best gun I've ever shot. Never had a single problem or failure with it.
I don't know why anyone would want the 17 when the 19 is great. It has a 4" bbl, holds 13 rounds and fits my hand perfectly. Same with the full size 40 cal instead of the G23. Who needs more? After all, the supposed king of handguns, the 4" .357, is supposed to be hell on wheels. Why would you need more than the 19 with a 124 gr +P load?

The standard mags for the compact .40 (G23) or .357 (G32) holds 13... The standard mag for the G19 holds 15.

I love my 17 too. I like them both! I'd like to have one of each model.

See the funny thing is that I can say the exact same thing about my S&W revolvers........ No matter what new pistol comes out, I still cant replace a good revolver.
