Not always seeing eye to eye just means you are both your own men with your own principles and not willing to be less than who you think you should be. That doesn't mean it's a bad thing. A real man needs to stand up for what he believes in. I would think less of a man for caving in on the principles he was raised with.
Men should be respected for standing up for their beliefs whether you agree with them or not.
