Everything is about ready. rolls are in the oven, always the final thing.

Went ahead and put the mushrooms in the oven. I'll give them a little head start before I put the filets in.

Walked about a mile and a half in the woods walking the perimeter. I'm pretty sure my suspicions of someone spooking the deer this morning was on target. I found one of the no trespassing signs laying in our driving path where someone pulled it up with the posts still attached and threw it. It was the area they ran from and had no leaves or debris on it so had to have been done recently. I moved a couple of trees but the other two that are down on the lane will require the chain saw.

Whew, I am stuffed. Had a piece of chocolate pie to top things off. Now making some coffee.

Years ago I was sitting up in a tree stand on a piece of property that I was the only one that had permission to be on. It was my first time there. When it started getting light I started hearing shooting. There must have been 2 or 3 other guys there hunting that property without permission. Some people just think any woods is Indian land, open to anyone.
