    In the country, hopefully.
Several years ago I worked at Fields Packing in Owensboro. I was assigned to assist electrical check out for a contractor installing a new fully automated hotdog line. During early production check out runs a young engineer was inspecting the rough cutting device and got his hand caught up in the rotating blades. His complete hand and most of his lower arm went through the process. After a brief shut down to assist the gentleman and clean up, production continued. His hand/arm were never recovered. I haven't ate a hotdog since. The story did have a happy ending I will tell the rest of the story if anyone wants to know more.
They gave him a sausage arm and little hot dog fingers?

ETA a minute late (and many dollars short)

We just called him Single Wing after the accident. After recovering and blowing through his settlement money he lost interest in engineering. Last I heard ol' Single Wing was the National Circular Swimming Champion. He was invited to Europe for the Would Championships but withdrew after finding out they raced in the opposite direction . :ingo:

A hot dog is a bread burrito....

Not really, I always ate burritos head straight up. Was never a big hot dog fan so I ate them like a taco, cooking head to the side. I was in my 30s before I realized I could eat a hot dog like a burrito.

I can see a pinapple salsa on a hot dog.. kind of like a sweet relish.

You know, I could almost see that (Yeah, Lord help me, I said it). It would require careful consideration for additional condiments though. Actually, plain old yellow mustard might compliment that.
