I’ve been getting pop-ups, banners between posts, and all sorts of weirdness on safari and firefox, but this morning, everything seems to be back to normal. Haven’t seen a banner or pop up yet.

I'm not getting pop-ups but a constant barrage at the lower left of "waiting for ..."

I have been having this for days. Ran CC Cleaner, Glary utilities, Avast, System Restore and every other program I could think of because I was sure my laptop was dying. Opening INGO froze my laptop completely. After messing with it for days (including considering replacing the laptop), I decided to try a different browser for because Chrome wouldn't open for me. Using Internet explorer and still getting popups (even with the ad blocker) but it isn't freezing up and I can actually type a reply now.

Yeah, seems to be back to normal. I looked at network activity from the browser and it seems like it's back to normal. Haven't tried to post anything from safari on my iphone yet, but we'll see.

I totally cleaned my phone this morning, optimized it, which frees up storage and stops apps running in the background, closed all tabs, cleared history and cache. Ingo gave me 2 pop ups at the bottom and a malicious full page popup. Had to leave, came back and got another.:ingo:

In all of this we have done a serious non-scientific experiment.
Using every device we come across that friends/family allows including the 8 mobile ones we own we have looked at Ingo a lot and not 1 pop-up. Now if we do not log in yes we see them. But the spouse and I both participated and neither account showed us any issues on any device we used.
I am not for a second saying you all are not having this experience. Not at all. I am just saying a field test/study turned up nothing.

Crap, we did not wear the lab coats with the pocket protectors. No graph paper was used and no spread sheets were developed. I guess we start from scratch.....:):

Sig, I'm curious which forum layout you're using on mobile.

Also if you're in "desktop mode" in your mobile browser.

At the bottom left, there's a dropdown with three layouts: ingunowners, ingunowners-responsive-rc2, and mobile. I don't recommend changing it, just say which one it currently is.

I got them a couple times yesterday intermittently. It would pop up, I could change to another thread and it would go away and not come back. That was on the Mac Desktop.

I am on a Dell Laptop and the main ads that pops up is Aerosoles shoe sale Ameritrade, Six Flags, Harley Davison, and some type of ice cream ad. Nothing about guns or ammo.

I'm not seeing the problem on my macbook using Firefox now. I'm not seeing background browser traffic to ad sites like I was. The only traffic I'm seeing is the typical GETs and POSTs from using the site.

On my iPhone the problem has not been popup ads, but I think may be related. The page errors and reloads, which really sucks if you've spent the last 20 minutes thumbing in a long post and your thumbs are phat. It's still doing that.
